Handling

We send out packages three times a week; Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. All orders are send out on next possible opportunity.  

Standard Shipping

Clothes will be sent through UPS and a tracking number will be provided to the customer when the parcel has been shipped. 

Estimated delivery times (Standard Shipping) 

Europe 3-7 business days

US/Canada - 7-14 business days

Worldwide - 7-14 business days

NOTE: we are NOT liable for any delays caused by the shipment agents. Only UPS Express guarantees a certain delivery time frame that we are able to validate. Any claims due to shipment delays with the choice of standard mail will not be accepted. 

Express Shipping

Shipping through a courier company UPS is possible if the customer chooses EXPRESS Shipping option at checkout, or contacts us requesting this specific means of shipping prior purchase.

Express shipping via courtier adds notably to the shipping costs but offers faster delivery times, door-to-door transport and tracking of the parcel at all times. The costs will be calculated per request.

US/Canada - 2 to 6 business days

Worldwide - 3 to 10 business days

Worldwide: 19,90€ / 29,90€ (standard/express)

 

Duties and Taxes

All shipments to EU region, include VAT according to shipping country. If the shipment is send to a country outside EU, you may be liable to pay tariffs and taxes according to country legislation. 

When ordering outside EU, we can advise an approximate amount to be paid or you can contact your local customs office or check their website. 

If the order be seized due to certain circumstances and the order can't be retrieved, you may not be refunded for your purchase. These circumstances include, but are not limited to:

  • Failure to Provide Required Customs Documents: If the order is seized and cannot be recovered because you did not supply the necessary customs documents upon request and within a reasonable timeframe;
  • Refusal to Pay Customs Duties: If the order is seized and cannot be recovered because you declined to pay the applicable customs duties.
  • Unreachable Customer: If the order is seized and cannot be recovered because attempts to deliver were unsuccessful, and you were unreachable

 

Delivery to United States

We don't collect US sales tax. Your purchase may be subject to sales or use tax, unless your state is exempt from taxation. Many states require a sales/use tax return filing at the end of the year for taxable purchases that were not taxed (including internet purchases) and payment of use tax on those purchases.

All orders under 800$ can be imported duty-free. For more details, contact our customer support at care@valodesign.fi or contact your local customs office or respective tax authority.
